April was another big month for DAD!!
Besides celebrating our 5 year anniversary, we also had 2 comic cons, Eternal Con and C2E2! For C2E2 we flew to Chicago, and it was our very first convention without Piggy, and our first time being in the midwest!!
Eternal Con was a 2 day event in NJ, we got to meet a lot of familiar faces and had a lot of fun!! Piggy and Tod even got to take a photo op with the 1960’s batmobile!!!
In Chicago we got to meet a lot of people for the first time! And even without everyone’s favorite superdog on hand, we had a great show!! We even gained some animatronic friends!! We definitely look forward to coming back to the midwest next year!!
In the clinic we treated over 200 animals!! Most of those animals were treated for parasites, as we try our best to get as many preventative treatments for them as possible into the clinic! A big “THANK YOU” to our 5 volunteers for the month of April: Maria Moreno, Ilona Jochem, Tija Altergott, Damaris Scotland and Melina Torres!
