1. DAD 5 year anniversary bake sale/raffle wrap up!!!

   April 17, 2015

   Hello everyone!!

   A couple of weeks ago we celebrated a huge milestone for our little non profit by turning 5 years old!!! To celebrate we had a HUGE vegan bake sale and partnered with a great group of businesses to have a raffle! Thanks to everyone who came out, and MooShoes for hosting, we raised more than we could have hoped for to help fund our clinic for the month! We even had a very special guest surprise us all, by coming all the way from the Galapagos Islands to see us!

   We had lots of fun during the event and met lots of people and their pets! It was a day filled with sugar, friends and shoes! How can you go wrong with that?

2. March Monthly Report!

   March is a wrap for Darwin Animal Doctors! With our busiest month of the year, we definitely had a lot of work that needed to be done!

   In the United States we took on our greatest tabling challenge to date when we took on both The Seed Experience and NYC Vegfest AT THE SAME TIME!!! (They were also right next door to each other!) It was a little stressful for everyone involved, but we got through it and had an AMAZING weekend! A special thanks to both events, as well as to everyone who came out! Tod, Andrea, Piggy and all the other volunteers loved meeting everyone!!

   Meanwhile at the clinic we treated almost 250 animals and performed 54 surgeries and 172 deparasite cases. Parasites are becoming a big problem in the Galapagos and we are doing all we can to keep the animals and the islands parasite free. We are always collecting any and all deparasite supplies to send to our clinic. If you have any on hand please contact us asap if you would like to donate them!!    All in all March was a great month for DAD and we can tell April is going to be just as great, if not better!!
